Why stay long in one organization?
She was asked why she stayed for as long as she did.
In a quiet corner she looked back on her career and reflected on what mattered to her. To care, to learn and to grow. In her notebook she begun to jot down all the leaders in her firm who gave her their years of wisdom and their time to look out for her. It was a long list- leaders who cared.
She reflected on all opportunities she has been given to learn new skills and the trust that she received in every role that she played. No hurdles being placed, only pillars of support to catch her when she fell and lifted her when she failed.
She has grown in ways that she could not have imagined when she started as a bright eyed graduate who did not know what she wanted to do. She found what was important to her in the leaders she met along her career path.
