IT IS BESPOKE TO YOU

Let's talk about leadership coaching and how it can be tailored to YOUR needs

As a coach, Koon’s main goal is to support you in what matters most to you during coaching sessions.

Picture this: when you work with a fantastic coach, it feels like you have got a someone who is truly in your corner. She is there to really listen, not just to your words, but also to what you might not be saying out loud. And she is not afraid to ask you thought-provoking questions that will get you thinking deeply and broadly.

Believe it or not, questions are a coach's secret weapon. Asking the right question at the right time in coaching session sparks that "Aha!" moment, creating awareness and paving the way for real change.

It’s a journey of introspection and self-reflection, navigating through any obstacles that might stand in the way of you achieving your goals and becoming the best version of yourself. It's all about shining a light on what's holding you back and helping you find your way forward.

No two coaching sessions are the same, because you and your journey is unique. You remain in the driver seat as we work towards your specific coaching objectives.

COACHING VERSUS MENTORING

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE?

PROCESS

Mentors share their knowledge and experiences, provide advice, and help the mentee navigate their career or specific challenges. They may also offer constructive feedback and support the mentee’s professional development.

Coaches use powerful questioning techniques to help the coachee explore their thoughts, beliefs, and perspectives. They facilitate self-reflection, accountability, and action planning.

EXPERTISE

Mentors often have expertise and experience in the field or area where the mentee seeks guidance. They draw on their own knowledge and lessons learned to provide valuable insights.

Coaches do not need to have direct experience or knowledge in the coachee's field. Their expertise lies in coaching techniques and tools to unlock the coachee's potential and facilitate growth.

RELATIONSHIP

Mentoring typically involves a more experienced person, the mentor, guiding and advising a less-experienced person, the mentee. The mentor acts as a role model and provides insights, advice, and learning opportunities.

In coaching, the coach and coachee have a collaborative partnership where the coach supports the coachee in discovering their own solutions, insights, and actions.
