Calm in crisis
Almost every holiday we have we would ended up in the hospital. 🏥
🔹A sliced finger when making apple pie. Luckily we didn’t lose a finger. 😅
🔹A fall into the river full of oyster shells because someone just feel like washing his feet 👣
🔹Eyes packed full of sand because the kids thought it would be funny to throw sand at each other 🙈
🔹A split across the eyebrow because who wouldn’t want to be a Tarzan swinging from one play equipment to another

My natural instinct is to think of the worst case scenario and jump into action.
But each time I have learned to remain calm.
🔹take a deep breath
🔹clear my mind
🔹speak calmly
If I’m calm, I can think clearly to work through the solutions and a crisis won’t feel like a crisis but a solvable problem.
Shout out to the kids for the training to be a better captain at work and steady the ship through the storm.
