I am a late bloomer

I have always been a late bloomer.

As a child, my parents worried whether I had learning difficulties. Other children were reciting their ABCs and 123s. I was confused between the B & D, M &N.

🔹now I write #careerhackwithkoon on LI every weekday.

Every new school I went too (and I changed school every 2 to 3 years), I would struggle to find my place. And doesn’t take much for me to end up in a conflict because I was different.

🔹now I’m much more comfortable to just be me.

Every role that I took on was more a discovery journey of what I don’t want to do and painful lessons learned. And dont even ask me for my 5 year plan.

🔹now slow and steady works for me, life is richer that way.

Having a late start is not forever and neither is having an early sprint.

Even a tortoise 🐢can win a race.
