Humble leaders - I’m just doing my job

“Oh ... I’m just doing my job”

I’ve heard this so many times and this is what I say to them

“You care deeply about what you do and you take pride over the work you deliver. Because of that you have made such an impact to the people around you and the relationships you inspire.

Leadership is not about the title it’s about the feeling you ignite in others to want to follow you.

And I can see that potential in you. I want you to know that.”

Humble leaders often get drown out amidst the fight amongst ego. Quietly going about their way in making a difference to others.

But between you and me, we know who we would go for.

It’s time for our humble leaders to shine.

They deserve better and our society deserve better.
