An uncertain future

Her future was mapped out by her parents from the moment she was born. She was to be an accountant or a lawyer. Else she could be a doctor or an engineer.

She must get good grades and she must study in top universities. They were certain of what they and she must do to secure her future.

She now looked at her own children. She is not as certain. Jobs are disappearing or at least changing and new jobs are created. There are turmoils and inequality but also many more good.

For now she thinks maybe the best she could do is instill the resilience to change, creativity to solve problems and ability to lift the spirits of people. Maybe instill a value based way of life to be kind, to do what is right and to make a difference.
