Rise above it all

He wasn’t having a great day.

He was upset about what was said, the accusations and the lies. He was being backed into a corner and the perpetrator was getting a free pass.

But he was reminded by the advice from his mentor, “always rise above it all and keep your hands clean.”

He sat down with a cup of tea and started writing. Documented every interaction and worked through how he will overcome. It was hard but he could sleep at night.

You can’t control how you feel in the moment but you can control how you react.
